Gotta say it was a good day

After this HORRIFIC week I've been having, I did find a few bright spots.

First - I made some awesome pork chops.

Second - Brianna texts me today. Actually asks to hang out with me this weekend. I would have been speechless, but like a typical teenager she sent it over text message.

Third - I got an interim report from school for Britt. A B- and an A. You could have knocked me over with a feather on that one.

So let's see if I can keep the good train going.
